Altazar is a personal development consultant, coach and facilitator. He works primarily with people who are seeking a greater awareness of who they are, particularly those who are in a position to impact the lives of others. He has an inclusive wholistic approach that recognises personal and professional development as two sides of the same coin.

Altazar works with a wide range of personal clients from professional backgrounds in management, the media, education, finance and local government. Many of his clients - and students - are accomplished coaches, counsellors and psychotherapists in their own right. He has created a range of innovative training programmes and has taught these internationally. He has also been involved in coaching programmes for year 10 to year 13 students in inner city schools.

Having worked for many years as an electrical engineer in the design of oil and gas installations Altazar has a clear understanding of the stresses and pressures of life in a ruthlessly commercial environment.

Altazar is a philosopher and a psychologist with a deeply insightful intuitive gift that is able to identify those unconscious strategies that undermine personal and professional fulfillment. He has a PhD in Semiotics (Psychoanalytic and Linguistic Theory) and has studied extensively in spiritual development.
